1. Information We Collect

We believe in data minimization. When you create an account, we collect your email address and display name via Firebase Authentication. If you subscribe to our Pro tier, payment processing is handled entirely by our payment provider, Creem (Creem.io). We never see, store, or process your credit card numbers or banking credentials. We also collect anonymous aggregate usage metrics (such as page views and feature engagement) to optimize system performance.

2. Your Prompt Data & Local-First Architecture

By default, prompts you construct in Slate are stored strictly in your browser's local storage (`localStorage`). They do not leave your device unless you sign in as a Pro subscriber with cloud synchronization enabled. For Pro users with cloud sync active, your saved prompt configurations are encrypted in transit and at rest using Google Cloud Firestore. We do NOT use your prompts, shot recipes, or creative outputs to train machine learning models.

3. Third-Party Infrastructure Providers

To operate Slate reliably, we partner with trusted infrastructure providers:

• Firebase / Google Cloud: Authentication and secure Firestore database storage for synchronized pro shots.
• Creem.io: PCI-DSS compliant checkout and subscription management.
• Vercel: Edge delivery and application hosting.

We do not sell, rent, or monetize your personal data to any third-party advertisers or data brokers.

4. User Rights & Data Deletion

Under applicable data privacy regulations (including GDPR and CCPA), you have the right to inspect, export, or permanently delete your account and associated cloud data at any time. Because non-synced data is held entirely in your browser's local storage, you can erase local data instantly through your browser settings or by clearing site data.
